Tamizador vibratorio de acero inoxidable para recubrimiento en polvo epóxico: eliminación de partículas sobredimensionadas y recuperación de polvo fino
Descripción general del proyecto
Epoxy powder coating screening is a key step after fine grinding and before packaging. The main purpose is to remove oversized particles, recover fine powder, and control the particle size distribution, usually within 20–80 μm.
For this project, the customer needed a reliable screening machine for the end of their powder coating production line:
Premixing → Melt Extrusion → Cooling → Crushing → Fine Grinding → Screening → Packaging
The customer chose a stainless steel vibro sifter for the screening and classification process.

Requisitos del cliente
During the discussion, the customer mainly focused on four points:
- Remove oversized particles after fine grinding.
- Separate and recover usable fine powder.
- Control the final particle size, mainly around 20–80 μm.
- Reduce screen clogging caused by fine powder and static electricity.
The customer also wanted a closed screening system to reduce powder dust escaping into the workshop.
Screening Solution
We recommended a multi-layer stainless steel vibro sifter for the powder coating line.
The screening process was arranged according to the customer’s particle size requirements:
- Upper screen: 60 mesh for oversized particles and impurities.
- Middle screen: 250 mesh for particle size classification.
- Lower section: Collect fine powder separately.
The machine can use 2 screening layers, depending on the final product requirements.
For very fine powder or materials that are easy to stick to the mesh, we recommended adding an ultrasonic screening system. The high-frequency vibration helps reduce powder adhesion and screen blockage, especially when using fine mesh such as 250 mesh or finer.

Key Features
Remove Oversized Particles
The vibro sifter removes coarse particles after fine grinding, helping maintain a more consistent powder coating particle size.
Recover Fine Powder
Different outlets separate fine powder from the main product, allowing usable fine powder to be collected for further processing or recovery.
Reduce Screen Clogging
Epoxy powder can easily carry static electricity and stick to the mesh. An ultrasonic system can help keep fine mesh open and improve screening stability.
Stainless Steel & Enclosed Design
304/316L stainless steel contact parts help reduce material contamination and make cleaning easier. The enclosed structure also helps control powder dust during operation.

Comentarios del cliente
After discussing the material, particle size, and production process, the customer found that the multi-layer vibro sifter matched their screening requirements well.
The machine helped them remove oversized particles, separate fine powder, and improve particle size control before packaging.
For their finer powder products, the ultrasonic option also provided a practical way to reduce mesh clogging and maintain stable screening performance.
