Working Principle
A vibrating motor utilises two sets of eccentric weights (unbalanced weights) located at the upper and lower ends of its shaft to convert the motor’s rotational motion into a superposition of horizontal, vertical, and inclined forces, as well as centrifugal forces. These forces are then transmitted to the screen surface to achieve the screening process. By adjusting the phase angle and weight of the upper and lower eccentric weights, the magnitude of the excitation force and the trajectory of the material can be modified
Structure

Differences Between Single-Motor and Dual-Motor Screening Machines
Single-vibration-source flour sifters are equipped with only one vibration motor, causing the screen surface to move in an elliptical pattern. Due to the single source of excitation, material throughput is limited, making these units suitable for screening operations with lower output requirements.
Dual-vibration-source industrial flour sifting equipments feature a “direct-discharge” design at the bottom, facilitating smoother material outflow. In coarse screening applications, they offer higher throughput than rotary vibrating screens of the same diameter. Compared to single-motor direct-discharge sifters, they accommodate a wider range of materials and provide greater processing capacity.
