What Is a Circular Vibratory Sifter?
A circular vibratory sifter machine is a precision screening equipment used to separate powders, granules, and conduct solid-liquid separation based on particle size.
Compared with traditional screening equipment, a circular vibratory sifter provides higher screening accuracy, flexible configuration, and better performance for fine material separation. The machine can be equipped with single or multiple screen layers to achieve different grading requirements, making it suitable for applications where product consistency and contamination removal are important.
Working Principle of the Circular Vibratory Sifter
Il circular vibratory sifter utilizes a vertical motor as its vibration source; eccentric weights mounted at both the top and bottom ends of the motor convert its rotational motion into a three-dimensional movement—comprising horizontal, vertical, and inclined components—which is then transmitted to the screen surface. Adjusting the phase angle between the top and bottom weights allows for the modification of the material’s movement trajectory across the screen.
Depending on specific screening requirements, material passes through one to six layers of screens with varying mesh sizes. During this process, mesh-cleaning devices (such as bouncing balls or ultrasonic systems) located beneath each screen layer continuously impact the mesh to ensure smooth material flow and effectively prevent clogging. Materials meeting the specific mesh requirements are discharged through their respective outlets, thereby achieving the desired screening and filtration results.
