What Is a Multi-Deck Vibratory Sifter?
A multi-deck vibratory sifter is an industrial screening machine designed to separate materials into different particle sizes through multiple screening layers. Unlike a single-deck sifter, it can complete several separation steps in one machine, which helps improve screening efficiency and save production space.
The machine uses vibration to spread materials evenly across each screen deck. Different mesh sizes are installed on each layer, allowing fine particles, medium particles, and oversized particles to be separated at the same time.
Working Principle of the Multi-Deck Vibratory Sifter
Feeding and Dispersion
Material enters through the top inlet and falls onto the screen surface, where it spreads rapidly and evenly under three-dimensional vibration, preventing accumulation.
Layering and Screening
Vertical vibration periodically tosses the material, preventing screen blinding and facilitating the passage of fine particles; horizontal gyratory vibration drives the material to move in a spiral involute pattern across the screen surface, spreading outward from the center. Through this layered screening process, particles smaller than the mesh size pass through as undersize material, while those larger than the mesh size move toward the edges along the spiral path.
Discharge
Coarse material is discharged from the outlet at the edge of the upper screen frame; fine material passes successively through the screen layers and is collected from the corresponding discharge outlets at the lower levels.

The multi-deck screening machine can be equipped with 2-6 screening layers according to production needs. Screening fineness reaches up to 500 mesh (28 microns), and filtration fineness reaches up to 5 microns.
