What is a Bulk Bag Dump Station?

The bulk bag dump station is a transfer device that utilizes negative-pressure dust collection. It is designed for opening bags and feeding materials during the production process. It allows materials to be stored before conveyance and, when used in conjunction with a dust collection system, effectively prevents dust from becoming airborne. It effectively isolates dust and other particulates generated during feeding from both equipment and personnel.

Under the negative pressure created by the fan, dust is drawn into the filtration system, separating the gas from the material. When a sufficient amount of material accumulates, it falls into the hopper due to its own weight. This system reduces material waste, eliminates the need to clean remote dust collection areas, and simultaneously protects workers while preventing factory contamination.

Working Principle

When small bags of material need to be opened and transferred to the next process, simply open the bags manually and place the contents directly into the system. Dust generated during feeding is collected by a dust extraction fan. The material passes through a vibrating screen (safety screen) to intercept loose particles and foreign objects, ensuring that only particles meeting the specifications are fed into the system.

1. The dust-free screening and feeding station consists of two main components: an upper section for dust collection and a lower section for raw material industrial sieving or conveying.

2. In the upper section, a negative-pressure fan collects dust into high-density filter cartridges. After a certain period, a pulse-jet cleaning system backwashes the filter cartridges, causing the dust to fall back into the lower direct-discharge screen for re-screening. This backwashing mechanism enables material reuse and ensures no raw material is lost.

3. Lower screening equipment: Can be integrated with straight-discharge screens, rotary vibrating screens, ultrasonic vibrating sieve, screw conveyors, and positive-pressure or Pneumatic Vacuum Conveying.
