What Is a Tumbler Screening Machine?

The Tumbler Screening Machine is a high-efficiency device designed for high-volume, high-precision screening. Its motion trajectory mimics manual screening by combining planar circular motion with upward tossing, achieving near-perfect results by adjusting radial and tangential angles.

This tumbler screen delivers over 95% accuracy, 3–5 times the capacity of conventional screens, and 5–10 times longer mesh service life. It is ideal for fine powders, granular materials, and difficult-to-screen production at scale.

How Does a Tumbler Screening Machine Work?

Tumbler screening achieves high precision and gentle material separation by simulating manual screening motions. After power is connected, the screen unit starts up. Driven by the vibration mechanism, the screen box performs a near-circular motion, causing the entire screen surface to move in a periodic pattern. The material on the screen surface follows the screen box in a directed jumping motion. During this process, particles smaller than the mesh size fall through to the lower layer of the screen and are discharged through the lower discharge port, while particles larger than the mesh size are discharged through the upper discharge port, completing the entire screening process.

The vibro sifter machine primarily consists of a screen mesh, a vibrator (exciter), a base, a drive unit, and a screen-cleaning device. The screen mesh is the key component for screening materials, and its mesh size determines the particle size of the screened material; the vibrator generates vibrational force to induce the required vibrational motion in the screen body; the base supports the entire screening unit; the drive unit provides power to drive the vibrator; The screen cleaning device prevents screen mesh clogging and improves screening efficiency.
