The Pharmaceutical Vibro Sifter is a powder and granule classification and screening device specifically designed for the pharmaceutical industry.
Utilizing vibrational force, it passes materials through screens of varying mesh sizes to achieve particle size classification, impurity removal, and material homogenization, thereby ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical production and process stability.

Different pharmaceutical materials require different screening technologies. Depending on particle size, screening accuracy, capacity requirements, and material characteristics, pharmaceutical vibro sifters can be categorized into three main types: Rotary Vibrating Sifter, Tumbler Screening Machine, and Linear Vibrating Screen. Tumbler Screening Machine for High-Precision Pharmaceutical Screening
The Tumbler Screening Machine simulates manual sieving motion, providing gentle and highly accurate particle separation. It is particularly suitable for ultra-fine pharmaceutical powders and fragile materials that require minimal particle damage.
The machine delivers higher screening precision and longer material residence time on the screen surface.Furthermore, by increasing the contact area between the material and the screen mesh, the output capacity is 1 to 5 times greater than that of a standard circular screen.


Linear Vibrating Screen for Large-Capacity Pharmaceutical Processing
The linear vibrating screen utilizes a dual-vibration motor drive system to generate linear motion, thereby efficiently conveying materials across the screen surface. Thanks to its high throughput capacity, this equipment is particularly well-suited for integration into continuous production lines.
This device is frequently employed in the processing of pharmaceutical raw materials for large-scale screening, dewatering, and classification operations. It is especially effective for processing Western-style tablets—specifically those featuring a glossy, hard-shell coating—as the linear screen’s rapid screening speed minimizes the tablets’ dwell time on the mesh, thereby reducing surface friction and enhancing overall tablet quality.

1. Applications in Pharmaceutical Powders
During the screening of pharmaceutical powders, common issues such as excessive fiber content, high viscosity, static electricity, and low specific gravity often arise. These factors lead to low screening throughput, poor operational continuity, difficult cleaning, and reduced production efficiency, thereby increasing the operational burden on the vibrating screen. The adoption of an ultrasonic de-blinding system effectively resolves these issues and significantly reduces screen clogging. For materials characterized by low specific gravity and high adsorptivity, this system enhances production efficiency and screening precision, while substantially reducing labor intensity and minimizing the waste of finished products.
2. Applications in Pharmaceutical Granules
Generally, the fineness of both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western pharmaceutical granules is required to pass through a 10–50 mesh screen. Furthermore, the proportion of fine particles—specifically those that pass through a 10-mesh screen but fail to pass through a 65-mesh screen—should not exceed 8%. The system also effectively mitigates issues related to clumping and moisture.
3. Applications in Pharmaceutical Extracts
1) After undergoing coarse filtration in a storage tank, the liquid extract is fed into a pharmaceutical liquid vibrating screening machine; the finest filtration capability allows for passage through a 625-mesh (20-micron) screen. The machine features an automatic residue discharge function, enabling continuous operation, eliminating screen clogging, and ensuring process continuity. Simultaneously, it improves product recovery rates and reduces the labor intensity required of workers.
2) In the pure sedimentation process, if this equipment is not utilized, valuable liquid components may be lost along with the solid residue. By employing this system, the finished product within the slurry can be effectively recovered; furthermore, the resulting waste residue is rendered drier, thereby minimizing environmental pollution.
