What Is an Industrial Vibratory Sieve?

How Does an Industrial Vibratory Sieve Work?

The industrial vibratory sieve utilizes a vertical vibration motor as its excitation source. Eccentric weights at the top and bottom of the motor convert rotational motion into three-dimensional vibration—comprising horizontal, vertical, and inclined components—which is transmitted to the screen surface, causing the material to move along an expanding involute trajectory.

Upon startup, the high-speed rotation of the eccentric weights generates a composite inertial force that drives the screen frame and screen surface to undergo periodic reciprocating vibration. Material bounces and undergoes classification on the screen surface; fine particles pass through the mesh, while coarse particles are discharged through the outlet, thereby completing the screening process.

In practical application, adjusting the relative phase of the eccentric weights at the top and bottom of the motor allows for the modification of the material’s movement trajectory on the screen surface, thereby enabling the achievement of specific screening objectives.

6. Easy to disassemble and reassemble, allowing for rapid screen changes (only 3–5 minutes); requires minimal daily maintenance and offers stable operation with a low failure rate.
