Industrial Vacuum Conveyor System Solutions for Powder & Bulk Materials
Vacuum conveyor systems automatically transfer various materials into the hoppers of packaging machines, injection molding machines, and crushers. What is a Vacuum Conveying System?
A vacuum conveyor system is a type of pneumatic equipment that utilizes the pressure differential between a vacuum pump and the atmosphere. This differential generates a high-velocity airflow within a sealed pipeline, using negative pressure suction to achieve dust-free transport of powders and granules.
The vacuum pneumatic conveying system effectively eliminates workshop dust contamination and elevates cleanliness. By significantly reducing manual labor and boosting production capacity, it ensures a safe, reliable, and eco-friendly manufacturing process.
Working Principle
1. Compressed air drives a multi-stage vacuum generator to create negative pressure. The system has no moving parts, requires no lubrication, and produces no heat. A motor-driven vacuum pump is optional.
2. When the bottom discharge valve is closed, a vacuum is generated within the powder hopper and the material conveying pipeline.
3. Under vacuum, material is drawn from the suction point through the pipeline into the powder hopper.
4. A high-efficiency filter blocks fine powders and granules, preventing them from entering the vacuum pump or escaping into the air.
5. Concurrently with the material conveying process, compressed air is accumulated within a blowback air tank.
6. Once the suction time reaches the preset value, the vacuum stops and the discharge valve opens. Material is released, while stored compressed air creates a pulse to clean the filter.
7. After discharge, the valve closes and the vacuum resumes. The system repeats this cycle automatically, controlled by a PLC for stable operation. Built with 304 or 316L stainless steel, the system meets GMP standards. Mirror-polished surfaces (Ra ≤ 0.8 μm) ensure easy cleaning. It features low energy consumption, low noise, and a clamp design for quick maintenance.
