What Is a Circular Swing Screen?
The Circular Swing Screen is specifically designed for high-throughput, high-precision screening requirements. Utilizing a principle that mimics manual screening, the swing screen achieves near-perfect screening results by adjusting the radial and tangential angles. Screening accuracy can reach over 95%, with a processing capacity 3–5 times that of ordinary screeners. Its screening accuracy and efficiency are 5–10 times higher than those of conventional circular screens. It is suitable for screening fine and ultra-fine powders and particulate materials, and is particularly well-suited for materials that are difficult to process, hard to screen, and require high throughput.

Circular Swing Screen Working Principle

Circular Swing Screen features a basic rotary motion similar to manual screening. Its instantaneous movement is a combination of radial displacement and circular motion around the axis of this displacement, forming a spiral motion.
The adjustable eccentric exciter generates a nonlinear three-dimensional motion, causing the material to move in a way that closely simulates manual sieving. It combines horizontal circular movement with upward throwing motion to create an efficient screening process.
The eccentricity can be adjusted from 25 to 40 mm, while the low-speed V-belt drive speed can be adjusted from 120 to 360 rpm. The residence time of different materials can be controlled by adjusting the radial movement and cutting angle of the swing screen toward the drive axis.
This creates a three-dimensional tumbling motion that combines horizontal movement and vertical throwing, allowing materials to be evenly distributed across the entire screen surface from the center to the outer edge while moving outward in a spiral path along the axial direction.
As a result, the Circular Swing Screen achieves efficient material screening, separation, and classification.

1. Material Options
Circular tumbler screens are available in either carbon steel or stainless steel, depending on the material being screened and the specific industry requirements. Stainless steel models are designed for applications requiring high levels of cleanliness or the handling of corrosive materials—such as in the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries—and carry a higher price tag due to the cost of the raw materials. 2. Number of Decks
The tumbler screening machine features up to five screen decks, enabling classification into as many as six size fractions. 3. Design Differences
The ultrasonic tumbler screen is based on the standard tumbler sieve machine but incorporates an ultrasonic device and features a modified screen frame.
