What is a Vibratory Separator?

The Vibratory Separator is a high-precision machine designed for screening fine powders. It features low noise levels, high efficiency, and a fully enclosed structure, with a rapid screen-change capability that takes just 3–5 minutes. Suitable for screening and filtering granules, powders, and slurries, it can be configured with multiple decks to simultaneously separate materials into 2–6 size fractions—making it particularly ideal for precision manufacturing industries requiring multi-stage classification.

How Does a Vibratory Separator Work?

The vibratory separator utilizes a vertical motor as its vibration source; eccentric weights mounted at both the top and bottom of the motor convert its rotary motion into a three-dimensional movement—comprising horizontal, vertical, and inclined components—which is then transmitted to the screen surface. Adjusting the phase angle between the top and bottom weights allows for the modification of the material’s movement trajectory across the screen. Material particles smaller than the screen apertures pass through to the layer below (undersize material), while particles larger than the apertures undergo continuous tumbling before being discharged through the outlet.
