Overview
A grain processing customer required an efficient screening solution for wheat bran after milling. The main purpose was to remove impurities such as residual wheat kernels, stones, sand, and other foreign materials while separating wheat bran into different particle size grades.
During the initial communication, the customer explained that the existing screening process had problems with screen blockage, difficult mesh replacement, and frequent cleaning downtime. Since wheat bran contains fine particles and fibrous materials, the customer needed a reliable vibrating sieve separator for wheat bran screening that could maintain stable operation under continuous production.

Multi-grade precision grading demand
The customer needs to complete three specifications of wheat bran screening at one time through 10 mesh, 30 mesh and 60 mesh screens, to separate coarse, medium and fine wheat bran with uniform particle size, meeting the supply standards of different downstream customers (feed processing, food additives, dietary fiber raw materials).
High-efficiency impurity removal demand
Raw wheat bran is mixed with a large number of heterogeneous impurities including residual whole wheat grains, small stones, sediment and fine sand. The original equipment has incomplete impurity removal, resulting in unqualified finished product purity and affecting product sales.

Fixed production capacity requirement
The customer’s supporting production line requires stable continuous screening capacity of 1200kg per hour, avoiding output fluctuation affecting the overall production schedule.

Solution: Customized Vibrating Sieve Separator for Wheat Bran
According to the customer’s requirements, we recommended a multi-layer vibrating sieve separator equipped with three screening decks.
First, configure three layers of standard precision screens of 10 mesh, 30 mesh and 60 mesh according to the customer’s grading standards. Through layered screening from coarse to fine, large impurities such as bran blocks and straws are removed by the upper 10 mesh screen, medium-sized residual wheat grains are intercepted by the middle 30 mesh screen, and fine sand and sediment impurities are filtered by the bottom 60 mesh screen, realizing one-time completion of impurity removal and multi-grade grading.
Second, install a professional screen anti-clogging bouncing ball cleaning device inside the equipment. With the help of vibrating excitation force, the bouncing ball continuously strikes the screen bottom, effectively bouncing off adhered flaky wheat bran, fundamentally solving the problem of screen hole blockage, and supporting 24-hour continuous stable production.
Third, adopt a quick-release stainless steel mesh screen fixing structure and fully open detachable shell design. The screen frame can be disassembled and replaced without professional tools in 5 minutes, and there is no sanitary dead corner in the internal cavity of the equipment, which is convenient for daily water washing and dry cleaning, meeting food-grade grain processing hygiene specifications.
Finally, optimize the vibration frequency and screen surface inclination angle according to the customer’s 1200kg/h output standard, adjust the material running speed and screening stroke, ensure uniform material distribution on the screen surface, avoid material accumulation and leakage screening, and stabilize the hourly output to reach the customer’s standard while ensuring screening precision.
