What is a Rotary Vibrating Screen?
A rotary vibrating screen is a powder sieving machine that uses a vibrating motor to generate three-dimensional motion, enabling efficient separation of materials by particle size. As material moves across the screen surface, finer particles pass through the mesh while oversized particles are discharged separately.
It is widely used for grading, filtering, and impurity removal in powders, granules, and liquids, offering high screening accuracy, continuous operation, and adaptable configurations for different industrial applications.
Working Principle
The material to be separated is fed into the vibrating screen through the hopper (the small opening at the top of the screen). The screen begins to vibrate, and the material fed into the hopper passes through the screen based on particle size. Particles larger than the mesh size remain on the screen surface and are called oversize material, while particles smaller than the mesh size pass through the screen and are called fine-grained material.

1. Vibration Motor Generates Motion
When the motor runs, the eccentric weights generate centrifugal force. This force is transmitted to the screen surface, causing the entire machine to vibrate in three dimensions (horizontally, vertically, and at an angle).
2. Multi-Directional Material Movement
The unique motion causes materials on the screen surface to move in a spiral trajectory. This movement ensures even distribution and efficient screening.
